Stay Ahead of the Game

Real-time Alerts and Notifications for E-Bike Violations

Based on my research, I found that real-time information about e-bike violations is critical for operational managers to effectively manage their e-bike fleet.

Therefore, I designed an alert and notification system that instantly notifies the operation manager when a bike violates any defined threshold such as speed, weight, zone restrictions, tyre pressure, or traffic rules.

This system helps operational managers to stay on top of their e-bike fleet, address violations in a timely manner, and ensure the safety of their customers.

Through user research, I have identified the need for real-time information and developed a solution that addresses this crucial need for operational managers.

I am made sure to assume that all E-bikes are equipped with all the necessary sensors to gather critical information on bike health, location, speed, and more, enabling operational managers to efficiently manage their fleets and provide a safe and reliable rental experience for customers.

Ideation

This is where I transition from learning about
user and the problem to coming up with solutions.

A: Design a web app which shows real time location, battery status, speed violations, weight violation and tire pressure of each bike.

B: Design the web app with keeping in mind to overcome maintenance cost of the vehicle.

C: Design a web app such a way that the operational manager can track all bikes in real time.

It's time to convert research findings and our iterations into pixels

I used restrained colors to create an airy and minimalistic interface. Also tried to not overload screens with elements to let users perform tasks with the one-finger tap or mouse clicks.
